THANK YOU!!

I just want to thank all you parents for such a great year with your wonderful children! They are such a nice group of boys and girls. They are caring, kind, fun, hard working, smart, fantastic friends, and good helpers! We have had a super 1st grade year! We have laughed together, and, yes, cried together, joked together, and of course learned together. We have learned A LOT! I have seen your children grow & mature Spiritually, Academically, Physically, Emotionally, and Religiously! I Thank you, Parents, for all your help with your children this year. Please continue to have your children READ, PRAY, practice addition math facts, READ, PRAY, practice subtraction math facts, READ, PRAY, then READ & PRAY again!!!! Have a fantastic Summer!!

Field Day is on Tuesday, June 4th!!

On this day, your child has been assigned a “Team” for the day & your child needs to wear that color shirt (T-Shirt) on this day. Here is a list of what your child should wear: * A T-Shirt the color of their team * Tennis shoes/Gym Shoes, (NO crocs, NO sandals, NO flip-flops). * Put sunscreen on your child before they come to school. * BRING a WATER BOTTLE!!! * Your child WILL get wet, so have them bring a full change of clothes!! Their Gym Uniforms work well, Or, A shirt & shorts or pants Underwear Shoes SOCKS (your child MUST have clean, dry socks on to be able to go into the Bouncy Houses in the afternoon!!). Please send me a note, or email me if your child doesn’t have a team color shirt & needs one. Let me know BY Monday, June 3rd and I will do my best to acquire one for them.

READING LOGS

May Reading Logs are Due on Monday,June 3rd!!

PLEASE send in your child’s Reading Log for the month of May. It is due Monday, June 3rd. A parent/adult should sign it when the child has read for the day. The adult should also fill in the number of minutes your child read that day. They should be reading at least 20-30 minutes daily. It should then be returned to me at the end of the month/beginning of the next month.

SUMMER READING LOGS

If you would like a Reading Log for the summer for your child, please let me know BY Tuesday and I will send one home with your child in their Take-Home-Folder.
