Shadow Day
The best way for you and your child to learn about the St. Jerome experience is to schedule a Shadow Day. These are scheduled in advance and depending on the grade level, give the parent or child a better understanding of our school atmosphere. These are half days – students are dropped off to the front office at 9:15 AM and are picked up just before lunch at Noon.
FAQ's:
You probably have a few questions as a new applicant to St. Jerome. We’ve put together a list of the most frequently asked questions from parents.
What are your school hours?
School hours are 9:00 – 3:45. We have before and after-school care from 6:30-9:30 AM and 3:45-5:30 PM.
Do you have a lunch Program?
Yes! We are part of the federal food program with on-site lunch every day. Our food service is managed by the Roseville Public Schools. We also provide breakfast before school each day. Our food service manager works closely with families to manage allergies.
Is tuition assistance available?
Yes! We are committed to making Catholic education affordable for all. Over 90% of our students receive some kind of tuition assistance and no child is turned away due to an inability to pay full tuition.
Is there an application deadline?
The short answer to this question is that there is no application deadline. However, the sooner your application is submitted, the better your chances are that there will be a space available in the grade for which you are applying. Generally, we recommend that students submit applications by the first week of January. We do have a tuition assistance application deadline. To be eligible for the AIM HIGHER SCHOLARSHIP for the 2024-2025 school year, you must complete the TADS financial aid application by August 26, 2024.
What is involved in the application process? What are the requirements for applying?
The admissions process usually takes one to two weeks. However, depending on how soon the application and supporting documents are submitted, the timeline could change. The admissions process is designed to ensure that all applicants have an equal opportunity to attend St. Jerome. We accept students from all faiths, races, and economic backgrounds. Applications are accepted year-round, and students can be admitted any time during the school year. A successful applicant demonstrates a willingness to perform to the best of his or her abilities and contribute positively to the St. Jerome community. The Admissions Committee will review all of the information provided by the applicant, his family and his most recent school during the admissions process. After making its decision, the Admissions Committee will notify the applicant’s parent(s).
