Important Information!!

TODAY!!

TODAY, Wednesday, April 8th, will be the Pick-Up & Drop-Off day from 9-11am and 4-6pm. Please make sure you come during one of these times to pick up your child’s materials for learning. We will begin using these materials right away and I don’t want your child to be left out. Thank you! Also, when you come please bring with you all work your child has completed. Math sheets, March Reading Log, story writing, sight word sheets, etc. You do NOT need to bring the “Groves” white & yellow book since your child will need that to continue using it. Make sure your child has his/her name on ALL papers. Please save everything your child does!! I will need to see these!! THANK YOU!

Today is Wellness Wednesday!!

Ms. Rogers, Mr. Baumgartner, & Mrs. Masson have some FUN things for you today! Mr. Baumgartner will send out information to you with what he will be doing for your children today. Mrs. Masson & Ms. Rogers both sent me the information which I have put in this newsletter (see below). So, enjoy!!

Star of the Day

Every day there will be a new “Star” to help me with all the morning meeting/calendar things we do!! Tune in each day to see who the “Star” is!!

Memory/Sight Words

Memory/Sight words are words we find in every sentence we read. Students must know these words to be able to read a sentence. Students should memorize these words, NOT sound them out. Please practice these words every day, both reading them and spelling them.

Oops! I made a mistake during the morning meeting and left the video on when I should have paused it to move things around. You can just Fast-Forward during that part. Sorry!!

Music:

Practice the Timeline song and the song Mrs. Masson was working with—it’s in your folder!

Hello, St. Jerome’s Students and Families! 🎶 A note from Mrs. Masson:

In these uncertain times, the following familiar song links to some of our K-5 music classroom favorites just might provide a lift to the students learning from home. Enjoy, and stay in touch with any musical suggestions or questions. I miss you all! ❤️
